Our client approached us regarding poor mobile reception on Orange, O2 and Vodafone in the lower offices of their factory facility in Dorset. After a brief telephone call, we initially requested a floor plan of the premises along with an external photograph.

From studying the floor plan and photograph we could see that the reflective UV glass could be the cause of the problem but we could also see that the 900 Mhz network mast was also a fair way from the factory and to top it the ground floor was in a dip.

Our Solution: Following a visit from one of our engineers we quickly drew a schematic diagram that would give adequate signal coverage in the problem areas, whilst at the same time would allow scalability should the factory wish to expand.
